DIY Craft Project: Ribbon Mobile
A colorful ribbon mobile will delight your little one as she drifts off to dream land. A variety of widths, patterns and textures allows you to mix and match colors to suit her nursery décor. Even the lightest breeze makes the mobile turn, spin and flutter.
Just gather ribbons you have or take a trip to a local craft, fabric or floral supply store. Use a wood or plastic embroidery or quilting hoop in the diameter of your choice; hoops can be round or square. A wreath ring is an option too. Next, tie ribbons on in a variety of lengths until it’s full and satisfying. Use 3-4 ribbons of equal length to suspend it over your baby’s crib or changing table. Vibrant, flowing ribbons are mesmerizing and artsy anywhere in a child’s living space.
