DIY Craft Project: Fingerpainted Monogram Wall Art

Young America: DIY Craft Project

Lucky little Liam. Create a unique keepsake canvas like his for your child. It’s surprisingly easy to give your nursery or child’s bedroom some original artwork.

Here’s how: Masking-tape your child’s name onto an art canvas of any size, then let the finger painting fun begin. We chose Crayola paints, but there are many other brands too. Acrylics hold up best over time. You can do it yourself or have your child join the messy fun too.

After the paint dries, remove the tape to reveal the contrasting silhouette of their name surrounded by their handiwork. Hang it on a wall, it will become a focal point everyone will enjoy.Young America: DIY Craft Project
